Information and Services Mainframe Computer Lounge offers a welcoming environment for the campus community to access high speed computers, read current magazines and meet with friends. This contemporary lounge is located on the main level of the Titan Student Union.

Computer Access
The Mainframe offers CSUF students, faculty and staff free access to more than 30 PC workstations, with top of the line equipment for all the current needs. Each computer includes internet connection and features recent versions of popular office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. There are modest printing charges for those wishing to use the area's laser printers.

Music and Magazine Checkout
One of the Mainframe Computer Lounge's goals is to provide a comfortable place for members of the community campus to relax and enjoy personal time. To meet the goal, guest can browse through the Lounge's current collection of popular magazines. Visitors are also invited to select from the diverse music selection containing more than 500 compact discs to enjoy a private listening experience while working at individual workstations.



Disability Access
The Mainframe offers an ADA compliant computer workstation for the ease of disabled students and visitors. This workstation has an adjustable table for easier wheelchair accessibility, and is equipped with a larger monitor and keyboard. The computer also features a software program for visually impaired users that audibly reads text from Internet sites and word processing documents.





Wireless Access
The Titan Student Union offers wireless Internet access in designated locations of the building. Students, faculty, and staff can access the Internet on their laptops in areas including lounges, offices, meeting rooms, the food court and outdoor patios.
