What is the RockWall Camp?
Rock Wall Camp

  • Titan Recreation’s Rock Wall Camp provides a variety of activities which focus on teaching all the necessary skills needed to learn the sport of rock climbing.
  • Each session includes 5 half-day sessions, Monday-Friday from 1pm - 4pm.
  • This climbing experience will increase overall concentration, body awareness, and help build strength, confidence & coordination.
What is the Camp Philosophy?
  • Camp staff offers supervision, structure and encouragement for each child to realize their potential.
  • Climbing is an individual sport allowing campers to grow and develop at his or her own pace. Our highly supportive group environment will help improve communication skills, increase trust, encourage risk taking, learn to face fears, and extend teamwork skills.
  • Your child will leave Rock Wall Camp with a renewed attitude, increased confidence, sharpened climbing skills and better problem solving abilities.
Who are the Team Members at the Rock Wall Camp?
  • The Rock Wall Team’s top priority is to create a safe environment for all participants to develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially at their own pace.
  • Each trained staff member will focus on providing a quality learning experience that is fun for everyone. The Team will lead the campers on a path that is safe, effective, and rewarding.
  • Our professional camp instructors are First Aid & CPR certified, are screened through a criminal background check, and participate in specific training.
  • Titan Recreation is a member of the Climbing Wall Association, focused on supporting and promoting the development of safe climbing practices & the sport of rock climbing.
Who can participate?
  • Campers ages 13-17 years old.
  • No climbing experience is necessary. All abilities can be accommodated. All climbers will be challenged, but not overwhelmed.
  • Campers with climbing experience will be supported in developing their potential.
How do I register for the RockWall Camp?
  • Registration begins April 28, 2008.
  • The Camp offers 8, one week sessions beginning June 16th.

Registration Deadline:

  • The deadline to register is the Wednesday prior to the start of each session. Space is limited and camp sessions will fill up, so don’t wait to register.
What if I need to cancel a session?
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing at least two weeks prior to the start of the cancelled session to receive a full refund less $50.
  • Cancellation requests received after the deadline and prior to the first day of camp must be accompanied with a written medical excuse and will be refunded the total amount less $50.
  • No cancellation requests will be accepted during the session even if the child does not attend any portion of camp.
  • Please allow 3-4 weeks for a refund check to be mailed.
Where do I check my child in and out for Rock Wall Camp?
  • All campers will check-in and check-out at the entrance of the Student Recreation Center (SRC) (see map).
  • For the safety of campers, only approved adults with picture ID will be allowed to sign for the child. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Are there any discounts for Rock Wall Camp?
Currently enrolled CSUF students (Campus Wide ID required) $6.00
CSUF Faculty/Staff (Campus Wide ID required) $6.00

Parking Information:

  • Parking for camper pick-up and drop-off will be available in the south portion of Lot A at Cal State Fullerton.
  • Lot A can be accessed from State College Blvd, between Nutwood Ave. and Yorba Linda Blvd.
